Organic Psyllium Husk Powder

Ingredient: 100% organic psyllium husk.

Psyllium husk powder is derived from the outer husks of Plantago ovata plant's seeds and consists primarily of soluble fibre in the form of arabinoxylans and heteroxylans. When hydrated, these fibres form a gel-like matrix capable of absorbing several times their weight in water.

This coarse powder contains a high proportion of dietary fibre, typically around 70-80% soluble and 20-30% insoluble fibre, making it a concentrated source of indigestible plant polysaccharides. It is commonly incorporated into food formulations where added fibre bulk and texture are desired.
