Our custom-made labels are biodegradable & are made from paper pulp that is sourced from certified well-managed forests.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) oversees the FSC forest management certification, which ensures forests are managed in a way that preserves biological diversity, supports the well-being of local communities & workers, as well as maintains economic viability. FSC-certified forests adhere to rigorous environmental, social & economic standards.

Our stand-up pouches are industrial compostable under the AS4736 Australian standard. The zipper on our stand-up pouch is also biodegradable.

This means our pouches meet these following requirements:

• At least 90% of the plastic materials biodegrade within 180 days in compost
• At least 90% of the plastic materials disintegrate into particles smaller than 2mm within 12 weeks in compost
• The resulting compost has no toxic effects on plants and earthworms
• Hazardous substances, including heavy metals, do not exceed the maximum permitted levels
• Plastic materials consist of more than 50% organic content.

We wrap our products with 100% organic hemp cord that is vastly more environmentally
friendly than cotton. Unlike most twines and ropes, which are polished with paraffin wax derived from petrochemicals, our hemp cord is treated with natural starch, making it completely oil-free.

Our hemp cord is vegan, biodegradable, oil-free & does not use any colouring, thus rocking the natural and organic look!

On top of that, our help cord is free from AZO dyes, which are a group of synthetic dyes that are known to have adverse impacts on the environment and health, such as:

• Harmful effects on human health, potentially causing allergic reactions, skin irritation and other health issues
• Toxic to aquatic life, leading to environmental contamination and damage to ecosystems
• Slow degradation rate in the environment, contributing to persistent pollution
• Potential formation of carcinogenic amines during degradation
• High molecular weight can increase the distribution of dyes in water bodies, worsening environmental impact.

Our packing slips are printed on papers made from bamboo fibers. Bamboo is a renewable, fast-growing, resilient & versatile plant, which makes it one of the most sustainable materials on the planet. It is 100% recyclable, biodegradable & compostable, making it an environmentally sustainable choice.

We use packing tape that is landfill-biodegradable, which means:

• Once the packing tape is disposed of in a landfill, biodegradation occurs approximately 90% faster than with conventional tape
• Biodegradation of material occurs when microorganisms metabolise the tape’s molecular structure, resulting in a humus-like material (which is an organic matter) that serves as a natural plant fertilizer and a biogas
• The packing tape does not break down into or leave behind any microplastics.

We use landfill-biodegradable nitrile gloves when handling and packing our ingredients
and products. These nitrile gloves have the same eco-friendly characteristics as our packing tape, described above.

We wrap our products in acid-free tissue paper, as the lack of acid protects the products from any chemical reactions, which helps to maintain their original quality during storage & shipping. Our tissue paper is made from 100% recyclable materials & free from artificial colouring, thus having the natural Kraft colour.

Our shipping & logo labels are carefully selected because they are produced by
a company that partners with One Tree Planted, an environmental non-profit
dedicated to global reforestation. This organisation plants trees around the
world, helping to restore ecosystems and combat climate change. By choosing
these labels, we contribute to environmental sustainability & support reforestation efforts.

Our mailer boxes are made from renewable resources – often crafted from recycled materials & post-consumer waste, making them an excellent choice for sustainable packaging. They are fully recyclable & biodegradable, ensuring that they break down naturally without harming the environment.

Our padded ecomailers are made from 99.9% post-consumer waste and are kerbside recyclable. These weather-resistant paper ecomailers are designed with a single seam, reducing the amount of glue used in their manufacture.
